Born at Bayshore Long Island in 1957,
Edgar a self taught percussionist began playing professionally by the age of 12.
He has toured throughout the east coast playing with Latin bands and Rock bands
in the college circuits. It wasn’t until 1979 that Edgar began to study with Carlos Castillo (Bassist for Tito Puenta) and
shall we say the rest is history. Edgar
has performed with such greats as Mongo Santa Maria, Charlie Palmieri, Candido
Paris and Orlando Martin.
